I'm an experienced high-tech professional with a strong technical background and experience in marketing, strategy, M&A, and operations.
I'm the operations manager at The Linux Foundation for the Tizen and MeeGo projects, and provide infrastructure support for OpenMAMA and the LTS Initiative. I provide training and have written some papers on the corporate open source development model.
Prior to joining the Linux Foundation, I spent 5 years at IBM, mostly on IBM's Linux Strategy team doing business and marketing strategy, market analysis, and corporate business development.
I'm also involved in academic research on open communities, funded by an NSF grant.
My wife and I live in West Lafayette, Indiana with our son.
My personal interests include hanging out with my family, working outside and around the home, cooking, eating, biking, Linux, programming, making music, reading, and volunteering time and technical skills.
